Engaging Arabic Series: A Comprehensive Learning Plan

The Engaging Arabic series offers a comprehensive and effective plan for teaching Arabic to children and young learners. The series gradually develops essential language skills through age-appropriate topics, supported by attractive designs and colourful illustrations.​This booklet presents the study program for the foundation stage of the Engaging Arabic series, outlining the learning objectives for each stage and suggesting a lesson distribution plan for the academic year.

 

The academic year in Britain consists of 39 weeks, divided into 3 terms. Lessons are distributed over approximately 30 weeks, allowing time for revisions and other activities.

 

We hope this serves as a valuable resource to help teachers develop suitable lesson plans for their students and their learning environment.​Teachers should strive to integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through a communicative language teaching approach. The classroom language should be planned to develop oral skills, tailored to the students' abilities, and to foster listening and speaking skills.
