العـربيَّـة الشَّـيِّـقـة: الكتاب الثاني   
يدفع الكتاب الثاني التلاميذ بسلاسة إلى تعلم أسس مهارتي القراءة والكتابة. يتكون من 10 وحدات تقدم قراءة الحروف بالتشكيل ومواضيع التحية والإسم والأسرة والأصدقاء والطعام، ويهدف إلى تمكين التلاميذ من:
قراءة الحـروف مع الحركات القصيرة وحروف المد والشدة والتنوين واللام القمرية والشمسية.
تعلم حوالي 150 كلمة جديدة من الكلمات الشائعة الاستخدام.
قراءة وتكويـن جــمــل قــصيـرة وصحيحة للمذكر والمؤنث.
تنمية مهارات الحديث والحوار المبسط مع التركيز على ضمائر المفرد المتكلم والمخاطب والغائب.
تقديم النفس والأسرة والأصدقاء.
 
يتكون الكتاب الأول من 88 صفحة ملونة، مقاس A4 - يقدم الكتاب الدروس الجديدة، وأيضًا يوفر التمارين وأوراق العمل لتعزيز التعليم بالتدريبات والمراجعة.

Book 2 smoothly transitions pupils into a basic fluent reading and writing stage. It consists of 10 units that offers the Arabic letters with vowels; and the topics of greetings, me, family, friends, and food. It helps students to:
Read the Arabic letters with short and long vowels, shad'da, tanween and moon/sun letters.  
Learn about 150 new frequently used words.
Read and formulate simple sentences correctly for masculine and feminine forms.
Develop basic speaking skills for simple dialogue.
Introduce self, family and friends.
 
FAL Book 2 consists of 88 coloured pages, size A4. It introduces the new lessons, and provides activities and worksheets to facilitate regular revision and enhance learning.
