Fun Arabic Learning: Year 1 Book

Year 1 book offers a set of illustrated vocabulary as examples of letters with short vowels and letters’ shapes in different positions of the word. It exposes pupils to the Arabic language through songs and high frequency words to instil a base for further learning in an easy and loving manner. It aims to enable students to:

• Learn letters’ sounds with fath’a, kasra, and dhamma vowels.

• Learn some basic everyday vocabulary and use them in simple sentences.

• Read and copy the words taught, joining letters correctly on the line.

• Begin to understand questions and answer them.

• Learn numbers 1 – 10.

The text and workbooks are combined into one coloured book 88 pages, size A4. It introduces the new lessons, and also provides activities and worksheets to facilitate regular revision and enhance learning.
